Play PS4 without connecting to PlayStation Network

Hello,

my son received a PS4 yesterday, we took the time to set it up (creating a PSN account, updating, creating a parent account, and creating an account for my son without an internet connection). Unfortunately, this morning my son wants to play, and the console is asking to connect to PSN... Is it possible to play without connecting (or without having to re-enter the username and password every time) so that my son can just turn on the console and start his game?

Thank you in advance for your help from a mom overwhelmed by this technology.

Good evening,
Indeed, if the game in question requires a connection to PSN to function, then the connection is necessary. It's better to modify the connection settings of your son's account so you don't have to worry anymore.
