Do you have this manual (usually provided with the remote control)?

I tried the TV goes into standby but does not turn back on.

Normally, switching to standby means that the code has been found; after that, you need to press OK after the power indicator turns off...

Unplug the power cable from the television, then plug the television back in, and turn it on using the television's power button.
