Install an msata SSD on Asus X751LX laptop

Hello,
I have an ASUS X751LX laptop and I took it apart to see if I could add an internal hard drive. I've heard about M.2 SSDs, but I don't think there is that type of format on my laptop.
I think I found an mSATA SSD slot parallel to the Wi-Fi card. Can you confirm this for me? Thank you
If it is possible, could you tell me which one to buy knowing that I plan to keep the HDD for storage?
I would like to install Windows on the SSD as well as a few apps.

    Hello,

    That's not an M.2 connector, nor even mSATA. Anyway, you have no mounting point for the existing SSD and there's a connector just below in the field, so it's probably a port that shouldn't be used (nor is it usable), since the WLAN (Wireless LAN) card is already present on it.

    In your model, Asus does not mention any additional M.2, mSATA, or other ports allowing to add a SSD of this type.

      O thank you very much. But then why does it say SSD on the motherboard?

        It's a mystery. Still, there is no M.2 connector in sight, with the possibility of fixing an M.2 format SSD.

        The connector for an M.2 format SSD:

        This does not match the connector present on the motherboard, which, in addition, has no fixing point in front of the connector to secure it, and which, according to ASUS's specifications, has no M.2 expansion slot.

        The only solution for an SSD in this case is to replace the existing hard drive, or if there is space, in a slot for a second drive.

        If the machine is equipped with a CD/DVD drive, it may also be possible to remove it and place a hard drive/SSD in its place.
