Hello,
I don’t see which forum to place my message in.
A technician who worked on my computer advised me to install Qwant to avoid cookies, I agreed and now I regret it because my computer is a mess,
I’m trying to uninstall it without success, I have deleted the extension.
How can I remove this Qwant?
Thank you in advance.

    Hello,
    To all those who are having trouble uninstalling Qwant:
    Go to the three horizontal lines in Firefox located at the top right;
    click on "Add-ons";
    there you will see all the extensions you have installed, all you need to do is remove Qwant from that list.

    Hello,

    Funny repairman! How are cookies dangerous or harmful?
    Anyway, you have cookies every time you visit any site.
    A cookie is just used to remind a site what you have viewed on that site.

    Qwant doesn't uninstall. Besides, it doesn't mess up PCs.
    What do you mean by "mess"?

    Hello,
    I don't quite see how using another search engine could mess up your computer. Could you elaborate?

    Hello fermiparadoxx, abel,
    Thank you for the attention you paid to my message.
    Indeed, I'm having a lot of trouble with Qwant; my printer isn't working anymore, I've uninstalled and reinstalled it, and now it opens on Wondershare and doesn't print.
    On my browser, I found the text below from CCM, but I can't find the "Tools" option in the menu.
    Under Mozilla Firefox: select the "Tools" tab, then "Internet Options" or "Options". Modify the homepage by inserting the URL of the desired page.
    In Firefox, I had in my documents compression the inability to print an image to make a clean JPG.
    I'm trying to send you a PDF message.
    Thank you for a response
    Have a nice day

      You are talking about the printer and the browser at the same time. It's not very clear...
      In the printer settings in Windows, not on your browser, simply set your printer as "Default" and that's it.

    Hello,
    A technician who worked on my computer advised me to install Qwant on FIREFOX to avoid spyware, I accepted and regret it because it has disrupted my computer.
    I’m trying to uninstall it unsuccessfully; I have removed the add-on.
    My printer doesn’t work anymore, I uninstalled and reinstalled it, but it opens on WONDERSHARE and doesn’t work, and others, when I create a PDF, NITRO shows up, previously I could easily compress from my documents.
    How can I remove this QWANT?
    This browser doesn’t suit me.
    Thanks in advance

    Hello, for the printer on the window, it's not your printer that is notified. As for Qwant, I use it every day without any issues; furthermore, it's a search engine, not a browser. For the printer, uninstall it completely, and then reinstall it. If you have another PC, try it there; maybe it's your printer that has a problem.
