    which model for the TV?
    Are you sure the replacement remote is the right one for this model? Have you entered a code? The codes are on the packaging
    1° Press the TV button
    2° Press and hold both "Ch+" and "TV-" simultaneously for a few seconds until the red light turns on
    3° Enter a 4-digit code
    5° Turn on your TV and try using a few main commands; if it doesn't respond, repeat the process with another code.

      My TV is an LG - The codes are in the user manual! But I am told to perform the operations while the TV is on!
