Hello everyone,
I have a problem with my PC during startup. Indeed, when I boot my PC, it displays a message saying it is analyzing and repairing drive E (my SSD I believe, where I have Windows installed). The problem is that this analysis and repair of the disk gets stuck at 66%.
So, I went into my BIOS, but unfortunately, even changing the boot order doesn't help because I don't have Windows on another drive, making it impossible to launch! Additionally, once in the BIOS, I see that both of my drives are connected and detected, but my SSD is highlighted in red (I have an MSI motherboard), which I assume means it is starting to fail or has already failed??
So, I don't really know how to restart Windows on my computer, and if I will be able to recover my SSD or the data it contains :/
Thank you in advance! :)
Configuration: Windows / Chrome 65.0.3325.181

Hello,
Take a look here.
You need to check the health status of your SSD if it's indeed the one causing the problem.
Because if that's the case, you will likely need to replace it and reinstall Windows.
Since you have an SSD and a hard drive, your personal data should be on the latter and not on the SSD.
This prevents you from losing them.-

It turns out that the SSD works, but indeed the hard drive is starting to have some problems (I think it's due to age, it's over 8 years old).
I have 3 yellow lines showing up with the HDTune tool in the "Health" tab of my hard drive
But I don't understand why I can't boot normally from the SSD which has Windows installed and works properly?
PS: I installed Far Cry 5 yesterday on this hard drive, I had some major freezes today and it was after restarting the PC that the problem occurred.
