Good evening,

When I shut down my computer while Google Chrome was still running and then turn it back on, Google Chrome starts up automatically with the tabs that were open at the time of shutdown. I find this useful and well thought out.

But that's not the issue. Another tab opens along with the others at startup (even though it wasn't present during the shutdown):

Do you know why this happens and how to prevent it from opening every time along with the others?

Thank you in advance for your help!

Configuration: Windows 10 / Chrome 65.0.3325.181

    Hello,

Microsoft has made a notable change that modifies the way the operating system manages program windows that were open during the last shutdown or restart of your PC.

Now, with the Fall Creators Update of Windows 10, programs and applications that you do not close when you shut down or restart your PC will automatically reopen when you log back in.

If you have version 1709 of Windows 10, you have procedures on this page
    • In Windows 10 settings, then Accounts → Disable the option: Use my sign-in info to automatically finish setting up my device after an update or restart.

    Info:
To know the version of Windows installed
    Windows key + R
    Type → winver

    A+
