Hello, I bought a Philips MC-M570 hi-fi system a few years ago that has the USB PC Link feature. Until now, I didn't have a use for it since my PC and the hi-fi system weren't next to each other. Now that they are next to each other, I am facing a small problem. I have unfortunately misplaced the installation CD, and I would like to know if there is a driver that can replace this CD. I have already searched but haven't found anything.
Thank you for your help

I think I found the driver (I created it myself from the data) but I feel like it doesn't work on a 64-bit version...
When I try to select it, I get the message that the folder does not contain any drivers and that if there is a driver, I need to make sure it is compatible with Windows 64-bit.
Can anyone confirm/deny?

Hello, I would like to connect my hi-fi system to my PC, but I no longer have the "USB PC link" software. If anyone knows where I can download it, it would really help me a lot.
If you have Windows XP, it's easy!
Download the following software:
musicmatch and soundagent at the following address: https://www.p4c.philips.com/
In the "search for your product" box, type the model of your Philips system (e.g., MCM530) and click on search.
Check the results from other countries in the Worldwide tab.

Finally, install musicmatch (which is a media player, somewhat like media player).
Restart your PC and that’s it!

Well, this post is a bit old, but my response could help all MCM 530 owners who want to connect this system to Vista or Seven....
First, start by installing the Philips drivers for XP on your machine with MusicMatch (mandatory). Vista will signal a compatibility problem with MusicMatch, ignore this message and run the program.
When installing the drivers, it may happen that the program says the system is not detected; just cancel, the drivers are still installed.
Once that’s done, go to Device Manager and then to the "Universal Serial Bus controllers" section, look for the composite USB of your system (if you have several, unplug the system and reconnect it to see which one corresponds to your system) then:
- right-click on it
- update the drivers
- search on my computer
- choose from a list of drivers on my computer
- select Philips composite USB-Hifi device and proceed
- continue the installation even if Windows alerts you that the driver is not signed
- reboot
There you go, this process should work. Be careful, MusicMatch launches at startup and it must do so; if you remove it, there will be no sound! ^^
With this method, the buttons on the system and the remote control work.
P.S.: sorry for the spelling mistakes :)

Hello
Sakcyb, I'm interested in your driver for 7.
I'm currently using it without the Philips driver. But the sound crackles regularly and I have to turn my hi-fi system off and on again.
Thank you.

Hey guys!
I've got a problem with the same gear as you! A MC-M530.
Except that I have the CD etc...
But I just formatted my PC, and before when I connected my chain with PC link, it worked just fine!
I had the "Sound Agent 2" control panel showing up etc!
But since I formatted my disk, I can't get that config panel back!
I did install the drivers etc... but when I try to open the "Sound Agent 2" control panel, an error message pops up saying:
"Unable to open the Aurilum Sound Agent 2 instance"
And I don't understand... my speakers are no longer working on my PC, no sound at all...
Have you guys had the same problem as me?

I don't have that problem, but in the end, I didn't even know that software was needed to use the USB PC link function! A friend came over to my place with his laptop, and all he had to do was connect it to the hi-fi system for it to work without any software.
No, it doesn't work but I have a problem: I have in my device manager
under audio, video and game controllers!
I have two legacy audio drivers!
whereas I didn't have that before formatting....

Hello, I have another problem with the USB PC link. I have this function in my Philips MC M570 hi-fi system, and before, when I connected the USB to my PC, I could hear sound normally. But now, I can't hear anything!!!! I don't understand why since the radio on the hi-fi system works perfectly fine, so the speakers are not the problem...
Could someone please help me???!!
Could someone please help me???!!
I recently bought a portable PC with Vista, so I can listen to my music with my M570 hi-fi system.
I noticed that, first of all, I could no longer use the Musicmatch Jukebox software (incompatibility), but I can still manage to listen to the sound coming from the PC with a slight humming or buzzing.
Can someone help me get rid of this noise, or is there a manipulation to do?
Sincerely
I look forward to your replies.

Thank you very much, little one :-) You've just saved me from tearing my hair out over Vista and a major depression.
I was rude, sorry,
Hello everyone first
Actually, I'm having difficulty finding the Philips composite USB Hi-Fi device in the list of choices!
Thank you very much.

Hi!!! I also had the same problem as you, except I had the installation CD and it doesn't work either because the software is incompatible with Windows Vista; it only works for W98 and WXP!!! So I'm also looking for compatible software with Vista. The only advice I can give you is that if you have Windows 98 or XP, you can buy the CD again; however, if you have Vista like me, check out the download sites directly to find a compatible one. That's it!!!
Hello,
I also have a Philips MCM 530. I switched to Windows 7 and cannot install Sound Agent 2. At the end of the installation, I get a message: "QVE bus driver is not detected. Reinstall the Qsound virtual audio devices bus enumerator driver." I tried to install it in compatibility mode with XP, but to no avail. I modified the driver in the device managers as indicated above, but still nothing. I keep getting the same message.
Music Match works but does not launch at startup.
Does anyone have any ideas??????
Thank you very much for your help, I have been looking for a solution to get some sound for 3 days, it's a real hassle!!!!!

First, to install it on XP, you need to install the driver before the SP2 version of XP. Having the first version of XP on CD, I was able to notice that SP2 writes something in the memory registry in a specific place that is normally occupied by the driver of the HI-FI system.
So by installing the driver before installing SP2, everything works fine! :)
Now that I am on Seven Pro, I wanted to try to install it!
As for me, I went to the Philips website, I downloaded the Sound Agent 2 drivers for XP
--> https://www.philips.fr/c-p/MCM530_25/-/aide
Then I installed the driver.
I followed the "tutorial" from ltitcon up to the search for the device in the device manager.
I was able to install the "philips composite usb-hifi device" driver
And I rebooted!
But I can't get the sound to come out of the Hi-Fi system.
Could you please clarify this for me?
Please note that I tried to install the driver from the CD, but since the MusicMatch version on the CD is not compatible with Seven.
During the computer restart, I remain stuck on a Windows boot screen....

I take back what I said... my speakers are working fine!
Unlike XP under Vista/Seven, the speakers are no longer called Sound Agent 2, I don't remember exactly, but Philips Audio Set.

I have installed the driver correctly (the system did not recognize the device). I have also installed Musicmatch, Sound Agent 2, but nothing works.
Does anyone know where I can find this driver?
Thanks in advance :)
