Hello,
Simple question, is it possible to change the date of an email received say May 17, 2017 to June 20, 2017?
I use Hotmail and Live.
Thank you

It's funny, in this link it explains that it's possible. I tried his method of saving the email to the home screen, opening it in Notepad, and changing the date, and it worked so far. But the only thing I couldn't do was put the email back in the inbox.

In that case, why open a thread if you already have the answer?

Morally, I find this method dishonest and I wouldn't even bother to test it to see if it works.

Why this process only works halfway, so I was thinking maybe someone here would know about this or another complete method. :)

And besides, what good could that possibly do since the sender will always have the original date?

There is nothing dishonest about it; it all depends on the intention.
I have good reasons, but I don't want to share them and would rather stay focused on the subject.
