Hello,
When installing a new Casio cash register of type SE-S400, when trying to print the daily reports, an error code appears: E204 check the write protect switch.
Since this error code is not listed in the user manual, I am turning to you...
If anyone has encountered this error code before, your help regarding the procedure to follow in order to rectify this would be invaluable....
Thank you in advance !!!!
Configuration: Macintosh / Chrome 63.0.3239.132

Hello,
You must have a backup or a recording somewhere on a memory card that is related to the daily report... and this memory is write-protected, there is a small switch on the side that needs to be flipped to the other position...
Or you haven't set up any memory... an SD card
This position will allow writing to the memory and unlock it for you... it's up to you to find where it is..

Could you please indicate where the tab is? I'm having the same issue.

The small tab is part of the memory card...it's on one side.
