Hello;
I regularly use Glaries utilities to clean my PC. Until now, I’ve never had any issues, but this morning I wanted to update it as it prompted me to. My antivirus (Avira Pro version) blocked the file and since then, my computer has been slow. I ran a scan with the antivirus, and it didn’t put any files in quarantine. Have you ever had this problem?
Thank you for your responses

Hello,
You put the file in exception: https://www.malekal.com/ajouter-exception-avast/
or better yet, uninstall Glary Utilities.
These cleaning programs do nothing but cause damage.

Hello,
Glary utilities is a bad software; it deletes useful items. To be honest, cleaning software generally does what can be done manually and takes up a lot of space. I strongly recommend uninstalling it.

Hello,
Glaries utilities has been uninstalled but my computer is frozen. Upon startup, I have a blue screen with a message in English. I restart it and there I have 2 options, either start normally, but in that case it returns to the blue screen. With the other option, it makes a repair attempt. Yesterday, it was working, but this morning, I keep returning to the blue screen: A problem has been detected and Windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.
If this is the first time you have seen this stop error restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps:
Check for viruses on your computer. Remove any newly installed hard drives or hard drive controllers. Check all hard drives to make sure they are properly configured and terminated.
Run CHKDSK /F to check for hard drive corruption, and then restart your computer.

Press F8 when the computer starts right after the first screen changes.

If you handle it well, you should see a menu with "Repair your computer."
Try a system restore.

Good evening
After many ups and downs, my problem is resolved. As you told me, I did a system restore, but every time I restarted, I got the blue screen again, and despite uninstalling Glaries utilities, it still indicated an issue with a file related to that software. In the end, after several restorations and scans with the antivirus, the issue disappeared. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it lasts.
How do we indicate that the problem is resolved?
Thanks again for your help.
