Hello I've accidentally installed Windows 10 Pro, but I bought a Windows 10 Home activation key. So I would like to "downgrade" my Windows 10 Pro to Windows 10 Home. How can I do that?
download the win 10 home iso from the microsoft website

I did it, but during the installation I'm not prompted for a product key, and as soon as I launch my session I can't change the product key (because it's impossible to connect to your organization's activation server, we cannot activate windows on this device) that's all. Help with details if possible, nothing on Google answers my problem.
Your ISO must not be a "Home" coming from Microsoft with this error. The organization's activation servers are specific to pro and even "volume" licenses... or else, your license is for a specific version of Windows, which uses an internal activation server.
You need to reinstall Windows 10... normally, you can use the same installation media if you downloaded the ISO from the Microsoft website; it will ask you which version you want to install.
Otherwise, here’s the complete procedure to reinstall Windows 10:
Reinstall Windows 10:
Follow this tutorial that explains how to install Windows 10: how to install Windows 10. All the steps are given from A to Z with tips at the end to secure Windows 10.
The steps are roughly:
- Download the Windows 10 installation ISO: https://www.microsoft.com/fr-fr/software-download/windows10 (other downloading methods: https://www.malekal.com/telecharger-iso-windows/). - Create the installation media with Media Creation Tool - Boot from it by modifying the boot sequence and selecting the USB stick or DVD: How to boot the computer from USB If the USB stick doesn't work, try making another one with Rufus: how to download Rufus - see this tutorial for details: how to create a Windows installation USB stick - Let yourself be guided to install Windows 10. - Choose customize (not upgrade) - During the partition phase, select the main partition and format it. - Click next; it will tell you that a Windows is already installed and will be moved. - Follow the Windows installation procedure using the tutorial above.
Once Windows is installed, I recommend following these tips to properly configure and use Windows: Tips after reinstalling Windows.

Hello, thank you for replying. But know that after several proposed manipulations, I always find it with Windows Pro installed, so it’s impossible for me to enter my Family license. However, I will try your method. Otherwise, any advice? I just want to reset my PC and install WINDOWS 10 HOME instead of PRO, because it has already been 3 days that the problem has been there, but nothing has changed. Thank you for your responses.
Redo an installation support as indicated in the previous message. See what it looks like afterwards.

Nothing works, I just want to have Windows 10 Home on my PC, but no, I still have Pro. Is there a way to check a place where it says Home version and not Pro, please? If you have Discord or Skype or something to communicate quickly, that would be nice.

And let's start all over again step by step.

Because at no point does it ask me for a product key and to know whether it installs family or pro, nothing of that is requested, so there it is.
Where does the license come from?
