Switching from Windows 10 Pro to Windows 10 Home?

Hello
I've accidentally installed Windows 10 Pro, but I bought a Windows 10 Home activation key. So I would like to "downgrade" my Windows 10 Pro to Windows 10 Home. How can I do that?

download the win 10 home iso from the microsoft website   -- not everyone is a genius but we're working on it  google is your friend, don't forget that!

You need to reinstall Windows 10... normally, you can use the same installation media if you downloaded the ISO from the Microsoft website; it will ask you which version you want to install.

Otherwise, here’s the complete procedure to reinstall Windows 10:

Follow this tutorial that explains how to install Windows 10: how to install Windows 10. All the steps are given from A to Z with tips at the end to secure Windows 10.

The steps are roughly:

- Download the Windows 10 installation ISO: https://www.microsoft.com/fr-fr/software-download/windows10 (other downloading methods: https://www.malekal.com/telecharger-iso-windows/).
- Create the installation media with Media Creation Tool
- Boot from it by modifying the boot sequence and selecting the USB stick or DVD: How to boot the computer from USB
If the USB stick doesn't work, try making another one with Rufus: how to download Rufus - see this tutorial for details: how to create a Windows installation USB stick
- Let yourself be guided to install Windows 10.
- Choose customize (not upgrade)
- During the partition phase, select the main partition and format it.
- Click next; it will tell you that a Windows is already installed and will be moved.
- Follow the Windows installation procedure using the tutorial above.
