Touch that activates on its own

Hello,
for some time now, the 6 key on my keyboard has been activating by itself.

This means that all of a sudden, I will have 666666666666666 written wherever my cursor is placed.
Basically, the 6 key activates on its own without me pressing it.
And it blocks the rest of my keyboard afterwards.

Strangely, sometimes it’s enough for me to press the 6 key again for the problem to disappear for a few moments.

I don't know if it's a technical issue or a virus.

I have cleaned my keyboard, removed the 6 key to see if there was any dust behind it, and nothing at all.

    Hello, have you tried removing the 6 key from your keyboard and seeing if the problem persists? Do you have the possibility to connect another keyboard to see if it continues or not?

      Unfortunately, I don't have another keyboard and this is the keyboard of my laptop.

      I removed the 6 key from the keyboard yesterday and the problem persisted.

      But it's really strange, for an hour I can have no problem and all of a sudden it's like the whole keyboard freezes and the number 6 writes itself wherever it can.

      I would advise you to call an exorcist. Joking aside, it could be a keyboard issue, not the key that presses itself since it's removed, or a virus. For the second case, run a scan with Malwarebytes and AdwCleaner. As for me, I can't help you more than that.
