What does the square paragraph mark represent in Word?

Hello,

When I display the paragraph marks, small squares appear in some cells of my table at the beginning of certain paragraphs. What do they represent?

    Hello

    This symbol, which is a non-printing character, corresponds to the "keep paragraphs together" or "keep lines together" option used to keep paragraphs or multiple lines of a paragraph from being split at the end of a page.

    The option to activate or deactivate can be found in the paragraph settings -> line breaks tab.
