Sufficient amplifier for AKAI SW-m70?
Hello,
I recently bought this amplifier: https://www.cdiscount.com/high-tech/home-cinema/kentiger-v10-bluetooth-hi-fi-class-ab-stereo-super/f-10629100109-auc6201287134240.html?idOffre=205841792#mpos=3%7Cmp
I own 2 AkAI SW-m70 speakers (I couldn't find any documentation for this speaker) and I would like to know if the amplifier I bought is powerful enough to properly drive the speakers continuously. Each of the 2 speakers will be connected using 2 bare wires, one red and one black.
I should mention that I also no longer have any documentation on the speaker, I only have its reference number which is marked on it; these speakers must be about 20 years old, I’m not quite sure.
Thank you in advance.

Hello,
If these are indeed these speakers, they are 70 watts.
So the amp is quite powerful.
Input power: DC 12 V 5 A
Output power: 160 W x 2 RMS
Impedance: 4-8 ohms
The more complete description here-

The label on the bottom of the speaker is also not the same, and I have the impression that the arrangement of the speakers is not the same either. I have a label made of sturdy, thick plastic, with "AKAI" written in large letters on a gray background, and below it in smaller letters "3-WAY SPEAKER SYSTEM".

Hello,
Title "Sufficient amplifier for AKAI SW-m70"
It's the opposite we should be asking: "sufficient speakers for the amplifier"
And the answer is no because:
Speakers rated for a maximum of 70 W and an amplifier capable of delivering 160 W, be careful not to raise the volume too much
