Hello,
I am reaching out for your help because I am having an issue with an Excel file that I cannot open. The following message appears when I try to open it: "Cannot open the file because its format or extension is not valid. Check that the file is not corrupted and that its extension matches the file format."
My file is an Excel file. I haven't opened it in a while, but I remember there shouldn't be any macros in this file, and yet it appears as .xlsx
I tried changing its extension to .xls, but the file is empty when I open it.
Do you have any solutions?
There is nothing very confidential in this file, so I'm sharing it below in case anyone wants to take a look.
