Hello,
Since this morning I keep getting messages: table task alarm: cannot perform this operation on a closed data set. I haven't requested anything and I don't understand anything. Can someone help me make these messages disappear permanently??? I'm terrible with computers........ Thank you so much for your help.
Configuration: Windows / Firefox 55.0

We can only help you when you specify which software this is occurring with!
And when you clarify what happened between yesterday and this morning: power outage, system update, file import, software download, opening a web document from an unknown source?

Retirement is great! Especially in the Caribbean... :-)
Raymond (INSA, AFPA, CF/R)-
HELLO Thank you for your response, except that ?? I don't understand! I don’t have any special software, this happened suddenly this morning when I reopened my computer, but it was a big storm last night, power outage it’s obvious. I tried to back up and restore my files. Everything seems to have gone well, but I still have these darn panels. I didn’t import any files, nor downloaded any software, and didn’t open any documents from unknown web sources!!! I simply clicked as usual on the National Hurricane Center (bad news by the way!). In fact, these problems arose after opening my XTRA calendar that has been proudly displaying... 2009!!! and that I can no longer consult. I've been living in the Caribbean for over 30 years, it’s great, but... sometimes (actually every year) it messes up a bit with tropical storms or hurricanes... Nevertheless, it’s nice. Good night for you right now, isn’t it?
Best regards- Yes indeed: we had the same storm with gusts of lightning; I only had a brief power cut. But I suppose you were asleep at that time and your computer was off?
I asked you which software the message appeared in, because I don't see how it can show up right when you turn on the computer...
And if your clock shows 2009, it means there have indeed been effects in the system.
I can only advise you to take your equipment to Jarry for inspection and to get it back in working order.
Trying to fix it yourself might make the damage worse!
And watch out for Maria, who should be heading our way on Monday night, according to the weather report from earlier...
Raymond, Abymes - Hi.
Well, here we are, Maria is continuing her devastating path... I'm in a building, so no damage; and the branches had the good sense not to fall on the car! I'm glad you made it through okay too.
I recommend again that you don't try too many manipulations on your computer. If you have someone in your circle who really knows about computers, have them take a look at your hardware.
Otherwise, don't hesitate to go see your seller or a representative of your brand.
It might not be much, but it could also be a virus!
Best regards.

Hello, I'm absolutely useless, I didn't even realize you were in Abymes. My bad at 79 years old... the neurons aren't connecting properly anymore!
Well, while I wait for Maria to pass by, I'll continue with the computer in this state, and as soon as possible, I'll follow your advice.
Maria doesn't seem too serious, though. Tonight, I'm starting to clear my terrace. I don't want to pick up from the neighbors; it happened to me with Hugo, and what was crazy was that all my neighbors were collecting their little garden furniture from each other.
Have a good weekend and good luck with Maria.
Best regards.
