Hello,
For some time now, I've been experiencing major graphical glitches when using Excel: the software automatically shows borders of cells that are varying in thickness, appearing and disappearing on their own. I'm attaching a GIF I made showing the problem:
I have the latest AMD driver for my graphics card, and the problem doesn’t seem to come from that. Do you have any ideas?
Thank you in advance!
Best regards,
Adrien
Configuration: Windows / Chrome 60.0.3112.113

Hello Adrien,
Your problem is so strange that it might be due to a specific virus for Excel? => run a full scan of your PC with a good antivirus: it might detect something?
Another possibility: your problem appeared after a recent update of your Excel, and that update wasn't a stable version => if so, you'll need to uninstall it.
One more lead: your problem occurred after installing an add-in => if so, disable it.

Hello,
thank you for your response. I followed your advice, but unfortunately, it didn't solve the problem :/
Hello Adrien,
Your problem might be due to a faulty graphics card driver?
You mentioned that you installed a recent AMD driver, but sometimes, it's
actually the most recent one that causes issues: poorly finalized version,
especially if it's a beta-test version => if you revert to the driver you
had before this new one, it might solve this problem?
If your issue only occurs with the Excel file you're using,
upload it to mon-partage.fr (without any confidential data);
you will need to copy/paste the download link in your
next message in this discussion.
Best regards

Hello,
The drivers are up to date, so I don't think that's the issue. Moreover, the problem doesn't affect a specific file, but all the ones I open with the software (sometimes I even have the same problem with other programs in the Office suite).
I will probably completely reinstall Windows. That should help resolve this issue, and at the same time do a little "spring cleaning," which never hurts! Have a good day, and thanks again for your help.
Best regards,
Adrien
