Hello, I've been informed by some so-called IT experts that Windows 7 will become obsolete in two or three years, just like what recently happened with XP.
Does anyone have information on this possibility?
Thank you for your responses.

Hello,

Indeed. Officially, Windows 7 is no longer "supported," meaning that its period of "development" and improvement is over.

Its lifecycle has already reached the "extended" support phase, and only important and security updates remain.

This information can be viewed on Microsoft's website: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/lifecycle/faq/windows

In 2020, Windows 7 will become like XP, that is to say obsolete, and it will be necessary to consider upgrading to a newer version.

Finally, in any case, the components of modern computers are becoming less and less compatible with Windows 7, in the sense that drivers are no longer maintained for Windows 7 and compatibility is becoming increasingly uncertain, given its upcoming "end of life" and the limitations that the system imposes which would hinder evolution.
