Hello,
you usually have 3 categories at the top: MESSAGES - ACTIVE - GROUPS.
to go to group conversations, you need to go to the groups category, then at the bottom right, you have a blue circle with a + and 2 small figures in front of each other, you need to click on it and then select the people you want to add to your group.
