Friend suggestion feature missing from my account

Hello,

A friend wants to suggest someone to become friends with me on Facebook, and she went to my profile to do it. However, it seems that this feature has disappeared from my page. She can suggest the person to all her friends, except for me. I searched everywhere in the settings and on forums: I couldn't find where this feature gets blocked/unblocked.

Does anyone have an idea, please?

I have the same problem... does anyone have a solution? It's not related to the browser or ad blockers or whatever, you just don't understand the problem... it's the people who can't suggest me as friends, so you or others can't suggest me as friends either, so it would be their browser blah blah, but they could suggest everyone else... your solutions don't make sense.

I tried clearing the Chrome cache, but apart from losing all my saved passwords, it had no effect. Anyway, I browse Facebook via the iPad app. However, I don't think it's related to my browser settings but rather to my account settings.
