Mobile Tracking

Solved

Hello,

I know I'm anticipating the negative, but just in case of mobile theft, I have Samsung's find my mobile function. However, when I test it, I see that it locates the mobile down to the centimeter, which is great, but it also displays a message on the mobile saying that it's being tracked!!
What's the point of warning the thief that we're tracking the phone??? It's completely stupid!! Even if I want to erase the data, it alerts my thief!!
I find it ridiculous!! Is there any other way to locate my mobile and also, if necessary, erase the data without the thief being notified?
Thanks in advance

Configuration: Windows / Firefox 53.0

Hello,

what's the point of letting your thief know that you're tracking the phone??? it's completely stupid!!

What's the point of tracking anyone (thief, child, spouse, etc.) without their consent? It's completely illegal, isn't it?

I completely agree, but in this case, when you're the victim of a theft and the owner of the phone! Logically, since it's linked to the Gmail account of the phone, it's the owner who registers on Find My Mobile, right? So they should be able to locate their own phone without it displaying on the phone! Well, that's my opinion! :/
I find it useless then!!
Afterwards, if there are some who use it for other purposes, it's with spy software, and I specifically didn't want to use that kind of thing!!
Since Find My Mobile is linked to my personal number, I think I have the right to track myself personally all alone, don't I?? :)
