New Skype webcam scam...

Good evening everyone,

Yes, I know I was quite foolish to fall for it, I'm going through a difficult time in my life and I got taken in on Skype...

I know that dozens of topics have already been published, and I have read the threads dedicated to what to do in case of a scam

My reaction was to report and denounce an abuse on Skype, delete my Skype account
And I already had quite a bit of information on my Facebook profile which was hidden, like my friends, most of my photos
Nevertheless, the person managed to get my friends list and threatens to share their screenshot
Should I fear this? What else can I do?
Because with my foolishness I feel bad and I'm afraid my life will be ruined with my friends just for wanting to have a pleasant moment in the midst of this bad period
I've learned my lesson...

    To reassure oneself (a little..) regarding the possibility of transmitting a link to the video to the FB list, implement the big virus hoax.

    However, since the scammers have no time to waste, they won’t squander their precious minutes spreading their clients' 'works'..

    The return to calm happens fairly quickly. Let's say between 3 and 7 days (on average), especially when you stop responding and the scammer realizes he’s talking to walls (Cut off all contact channels with the scammer..).

    The 'business' continues and the scammer focuses on new 'recruits' and exploiting them. It's better to devote your energy to the pigeons who cooperate (= who send money..) rather than to the ones who have gone silent. It's a question of profitability!

    So keep a low profile. In 2 weeks everything will be forgotten!

    Cool.. Zen... Relax.. Unpleasant moments but not deadly!

      Thank you for your valuable response, I didn't take the precaution of sending this message to my friends because it will lead to questions I don't want to answer
      It will be 3 days by the end of the afternoon and I haven't received any message from the scammer (especially since I've deleted the Skype account and he never added me on Facebook and doesn't have my email address)
      I tell myself that he must have given up because he quickly realized that he wouldn't get anything from me but I still can't seem to feel at peace!

      Breathe, chill, relax, I understand your state, the scammers have a knack for provoking a kind of panic in their victims that can last for several days; if he doesn't have your email address or phone number, he moved on a long time ago...
      Go for a walk, keep yourself busy...
