Your computer doesn't have enough memory

Hello,

For the past few days, I have been encountering a major problem with my Asus ROG laptop.
When I work on Archicad, a message frequently appears saying "your computer does not have enough memory to run the application," which prevents me from generating my 3D views and sections, etc. It's really problematic and I can't seem to resolve this issue.

I am working on Windows 10, with 8GB of RAM and a GeForce GTX 960M graphics card.

Thank you for your valuable help.

Hi,

If your PC is compatible with 16GB of RAM, adding more might solve the problem, but first, download Wise Memory Optimizer and check what percentage of your RAM is being used during your renderings.

If your antivirus flags it as a PUP, just ignore it.

Thank you for your response
So when I'm working in 2D, in plan I'm at 47337 MB used and 3353 MB free
If I ever have the audacity to launch a 3D, the RAM goes up to a maximum of 7824 MB used and 267 MB free ....

So, the answer is clear: replace your RAM sticks and install 16 or 32GB depending on compatibility.

So I have some news
I deleted an element "curtain wall" that I had created and apparently that's what was causing the problem. Since I removed it, RAM usage is 1940 MB used and 6130 MB free, which includes around 300 MB for the operation of Archicad...
In any case, I thank you for your help and hope that this problem won't resurface!
Have a nice day.

Hi

How is virtual memory set up?

The preferences of your software?

If there's a lack of RAM, it should switch to virtual memory
