Licenses ROK : à quoi ça sert ?

Hello,
I want to change the AD server within my company because the old one is damaged. I now have a Windows 2012 R2 STDROK server. However, I am wondering how the ROK licenses are useful (all my client posts are activated, there are no VMs).
So I would like to know what these licenses are for and where to enter them for activation (if they are useful in my case).

Thank you

    Hello,

ROK licenses are for authorized resellers of a server manufacturer's brand.

Here is a definition from the web:
ROK (Reseller Option Kit) is a software distribution model open to IT resellers, allowing them to provide an optimized price installation kit for the Microsoft Windows Server Operating System on an HP server.

For you, this doesn't change anything; you activate your 2012 license like any other license.
However, it is tied to the server brand; if you change servers, you need to stick to the same brand. This last piece of information needs to be confirmed.

    Best regards.
