Fingerprint option missing

Hello,
Having bought the phone about a month ago, I used the fingerprint unlock option which worked perfectly well, until I updated to Emui 5.0 and since then, the fingerprint unlock option has literally disappeared from the phone settings. Can someone explain this phenomenon?
My phone is an Honor 5c.

Configuration: Android / Chrome 57.0.2987.132

    I just looked and the option has completely disappeared.

      Well, that's not normal indeed since it's a native option with this smartphone. If I were in your place, I would suggest doing a reset with the usual precautions, of course!
