Good evening,
I’m warning you, I know absolutely nothing about cash registers, but here’s an answer that I translated (the answer was in English)
I quote:
This means that the register is about to completely erase everything (or maybe it already has). If it has been turned off for a long time without being used, that’s normal.
We can try to take it out of initialization mode.
Please follow these steps very carefully:
Turn off the power at the wall. (unplug the cash register)
Turn the key to PROGRAM mode.
Hold down the RECEIPT FEED button.
Turn on the wall. (plug in the power cord)
When you see the display change to 'FFFFFFFFFF', let go of RECEIPT FEED.
Press SUBTOTAL
Turn the key to REG mode and try it. If you get error 8, then you may need to connect to a clerk. > I’m not sure what they mean by that
That’s it.. the bold characters correspond to clarifications that I added.
Otherwise, I think you have no choice, you will have to call a professional to reprogram your cash register.
Best regards
