Hello,
I need some advice on what to do because I've gotten myself into a bad situation with a gypsy, thinking he wasn't like that after
(our friendship).
Last year this person asked me to take the phones and the subscriptions in my name, so I got 2 Samsung Edge 6s for him and his wife.
He told me he couldn't use his credit card anymore because he mentioned a limited number of phone purchases on the site, so I said okay. I put my credit card in and completed all the steps for that. Then he told me I could put them back in my name in 3 months, which I also agreed to.
So at the beginning of October 2016, the first bill came, but as of now, it's always the same story. He tells me he has been charged, there have been issues, and let's do this, but it never happens because there's always a problem.
What I didn't know is that these were rental phones; honestly, I had no idea you could rent phones, but to confuse me, he said if he told me. And on top of that, he sold a rental phone without me knowing.
Yesterday I called him and clearly asked him when he would do what was necessary, but the conversation escalated into a heated argument, both of us getting upset because he realized I was starting to understand the situation. He made me look like a fool because in every situation, I am the loser. So today I played the actor because I want him to do what’s necessary, saying that we got carried away—it happens and all that—to act nice, but he's giving me the silent treatment because if the phones are not returned within 30 days, it's on me, and I might even have to pay for them.
I'm paying for my mistake; it happened so quickly that he turned it around on me that I can't find a solution.

Good evening,
I think you should be prepared to take responsibility all the way through, and perhaps, who knows, this tough experience will be useful to you in the future...

Hello
What a mess!
Unfortunately, you are still solely responsible for the subscriptions, the communications, and the bigophones.. This could hurt.. Your buddy the gypsy and his lady, the filter-gitane, have found the perfect pigeon in your naive self.. Not much of a solution to this shit..
And what about us, wouldn't you happen to be offering us an iPhone and the subscription that goes with it?
See you! -
Hello,
I must humbly admit that, apart from the fact that you were caught like a poor innocent pigeon, I didn't quite understand the ins and outs of your story. Nevertheless, you had the merit of explaining...-
To keep it simple, after the rant we had, he told me he wouldn't send back the phones, and today I don't know how to stop the Free direct debits, are they just taking over the contract?
Just to annoy me, he won't do anything and will leave me in a mess.
And regarding the phone returns, when I see that a scratch costs €200, I can't imagine how much I'll have to pay for a sold phone.
So yes, I'm the poor innocent pigeon who saw nothing and got swindled.
And it's not just that, but after that, it would be more the topic of the forum.
