Tera Launch Issue

Solved

Hello everyone,

I installed Tera 1 day ago with Gameforge.

I'm asking for help because when I try to launch the game, after all the updates are done, I click on "Play", log in, then click on "Connection" and a red message appears: "An error has occurred, please try again later." (image below)

I want to point out that yesterday, while the error message was present, I quit and then restarted the game and miraculously it launched. I stayed connected for as long as possible before going to sleep.
But this morning, even after several attempts, the game won't start.

So I'm asking for your help because I'm a fan of the game...
If you have any requests (screenshots, etc...) don't hesitate!

Best regards,
Hagu.

I believe that in the options you can repair the launcher, try that first.

First of all, thank you for your response.

I then went into the launcher settings, checked "file" and then "launch repair."
Once it was finished, I clicked on play, signed in, but the same message still appears, and the game won't start ...

The launcher of this game is a real piece of garbage, many will confirm it. If you have a good connection, uninstall and reinstall everything while making sure to download from the official site.

The problem is that I installed the game twice on Steam, then I installed it on Gameforge, unfortunately the problem still persists... I don't know what to do anymore, plus yesterday I started the story and I disconnected at level 20 with a crazy desire to continue :(

Re-try with GF, uninstall everything and reinstall it without interrupting the download.

Yes, I believe this is my only solution.
However, I think I should search a bit more first to see if I can find a solution.
When I reinstall it, should I delete all traces of Tera as well as GF? (folders ...)
