Mail app configuration for free IMAP not working Solved

Question

Hello, I have been searching for over two hours on how to retrieve my mail from my Free mail box using the Mail app (IMAP configuration) and I am unable to do so. The last information I found here: RECEIVE PORT: 143; NON-SSL SMTP: PORT 25 OR 465 OR 587 NON-SSL WITHOUT AUTHENTICATION Response: Unable to connect to this SMTP server. Check accuracy, etc. I have followed everything I found on Free (but not for Mac, there is none) and it doesn’t work. Mail is indeed connected to the Internet. I don’t know what to do. Can you please help me? Configuration: Macintosh / Safari 9.1.3

If it were exactly the same, it would be so much simpler!  Here's what I have: Account type: free.fr IMAP Description FREE IMAP (this is the name given to the account in the left column) Email address xxxxx@free.fr Full name: xxxxx  Incoming server imap.free.fr Username xxxxx@free.fr (before there wasn't @... but it didn't work any better) Password (entered at least 3 times to be sure and with this password, it works very well online in direct consultation) Outgoing server (SMTP) imap.free.fr:xxxxx (disconnected)  And in advanced:  IMAP path prefix, there’s nothing Port 993 and checked use SSL Authentication: password checked: Use IDLE if the server supports it  There’s nothing else to add  And as you can see, the server appears disconnected. Thank you, Mavericks 10.9.5 and Mail version 7.3 According to the diagnostics, everything is working, my three mailboxes are functioning. I wonder if this is not the first time it has happened. I don't know why, but it didn't happen all at once. But anyway, thank you very much.
