It seems my browser refuses to open Google.com but can access skynet.be and others, for example.... I have a message under my toolbar saying that I need to enable add-ons???? When I go to tools, the add-on management function is grayed out and I don't know how to enable it /.... Can someone explain to me?

Hello, here is the solution. Because if I understand correctly, when you open Internet Explorer, your Internet Explorer freezes and you can't do anything (you can't even close Internet Explorer without needing to restart your computer) ON WINDOWS VISTA... if that's the case, follow the instructions I'm going to leave you below.
BUT IF YOUR INTERNET EXPLORER IS OPEN AND FROZEN AND YOU CAN'T CLOSE IT ... restart your computer before doing these manipulations, because Internet Explorer should not be open to carry out the following procedures:
HERE ARE THE STEPS TO FOLLOW
1. -Click on:
2. --Start
3. --All Programs
4. --Accessories
5. --System Tools
6. --Internet Explorer (no add-ons)
7. Afterwards, Internet Explorer without add-ons opens,
8. You will see a text written just above: "Internet Explorer is currently running without add-ons"
9. You will see written just above that, a kind of blue shield and it says: "Internet Explorer is currently running with add-ons disabled. Click here to manage, disable or remove your add-ons."... you will click on it.
10. Then click on: "manage add-ons".
11. A window will open: "manage add-ons" ...
12. To your right, you will see a white rectangle with plenty of things inside (LOTS OF PROGRAM NAMES)...
13. You will see a place marked: Google Inc., then there are several Google programs just below Google Inc.
14. You will click on one of the Google programs that are just below GOOGLE INC., and at the bottom of the window, you will see "Disabled" appear.
15. Click on it.
16. A window will open and there will be boxes that will not be checked... check them and then click on disable...
*** If there are still GOOGLE programs that are still ACTIVE, click on each GOOGLE and then click on disable at the bottom OR ELSE CLICK ON GOOGLE INC. Then click on: DISABLE ALL (EASIER)***
Now close all the windows that are open, and try your Internet Explorer (THE NORMAL one and not the one without add-ons)...
HERE THE JOB IS DONE... it will work like new
