How to delete a document from Open Office?

Hello,
I am cleaning up my text files and I open them from Open Office, and once opened and after reading them, I would like to delete them from the Open Office menu. How do you do that?

Configuration: Windows / Chrome 56.0.2924.87

    Hello,
    Right-click on the closed document > delete.

    You do not delete a file while it is open.
    You must use the directory windows, which are designed for that, and delete the icon representing the file. And as Abel points out, the relevant document must be closed ...
