Hello Sirs!
I acquired a gaming PC. A nice little Republic of Gaming, Windows 10, with an NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 960M. In my Steam games, I have Napoleon Total War, which I installed directly. It starts up fine, but when I try to adjust the graphics quality, that's when the drama begins: ONLY LOW AND MEDIUM ARE POSSIBLE. High and Ultra (I don’t remember the exact terms) are grayed out, locked, I can't click on them, they are not available. Apparently, it's not compatible with GeForce Experience or something like that. To me, it doesn’t seem like such an old game, and the PC I have should be able to run it at good quality. So I'm sure there must be a trick or setting that I've missed.
Also, comrades, dear fellow gamers, enlighten this IT newbie with your wisdom, thank you in advance.

Hello!
Given the number of entities to display in games of this kind (and especially this one :/) I think the game is just telling you that it's really not worth hoping for a playable outcome with these graphics qualities.
You might have a workaround to bypass this "restriction," but I'm not too sure about that. Your graphics card is really decent, though, so if it exists, it doesn't hurt to try.
Have a nice evening!

Hi, try this tip. It may be that the game is relying on the wrong graphics chip or an artificial criterion (memory size, etc.)
