Number of HDD startups in factory testing.

Hello everyone,

I would like to know how many times a hard drive has been powered on during factory testing before the PC is put on sale.

This is just to find out if the PC I received as a replacement is not a refurbished one.

The PC I had before the replacement had about 10 startups (unfortunately, this is not very precise because I did several startups before realizing the test).

    Well, it's impossible to know just like that.

    The components can be tested separately before assembling the PC, and then the PC can be tested after assembly.
    If you have operating system installation, there can be numerous reboots to perform the latest updates, for example.
    PC tests can be done with another "working" hard drive from the tester...
    They can provide you with a refurbished PC with a new hard drive.
    Conversely, a refurbished PC may have been refurbished without ever being taken out of the store or damaged, like a damaged box, for example...
    So you can also have a brand new, non-refurbished PC.
