Hello, I have a problem. I recently moved in and my telephone socket was broken at the level of a plate. So I bought the same model. The issue is that with the Legrand Mosaic sockets, the screws do not lift the plate for connecting the white/gray wires. Therefore, I am asking for your help to know if I should attach the wire directly to the screw or is there another method?

If so, should I strip the wires?

Is this the model?
When unscrewing the screw, there's no way to insert the wire between the plastic and the metal plate
Note: in any case, the wires will need to be stripped for at least 5mm.

Hello, I'm getting back to you because I still don't have internet, even though the network incident problem seems to be fixed. I reconnected the RJ45 plug that France Telecom had installed. In the socket, there is one input A B and two outputs AB. I put the grey wire (A) and the white wire (B) in the input, yet there's still no network. Should I reverse them? Put the white in A and the grey in B? Or should I connect one of them to one of the outputs?

  The Legrand mosaic socket is not an RJ45 but a T socket

  The wires should be connected to terminals 1 and 3
  (the gray ones on 1 and the white ones on 3)
  Terminal 1 (when viewed from the back) is at the top left, terminal 3 is just below

  I connected the RJ45 socket in T as you said, but nothing happened, so I went back to the RJ45. Thanks for your response regarding the RJ45; do you know about wiring because it's not like the ones I see online? There is 1 input, 2 outputs, the 3 aligned at the bottom, and with 2 points (A B).

  Basically, in my RJ45 socket, there's an incoming port (I don't know if "port" is the right term) with an A and B connection and 2 outgoing ports next to it, also with A and B. I connected the gray and the white wires in the incoming port, the gray in A and the white in B.

  It looks something like this, although the terminals where we connect the wires are aligned and not one at the bottom and two at the top.

  It's a DTI, not a normal RJ45, only one pair is wired to the Test socket.
  Normally, you connect other RJ45s behind connected to A and B indeed.
  The test socket, as its name indicates, is only used for testing.
  But well,
  if that works for you, then leave it like that.

Hello,
yes, if the wire gets tight under the screw, it needs to be stripped, that's a must.
There are self-stripping contacts, but then, there is no screw.

  Well, I stripped it down and screwed it between the screw and the plate. I'll see what it does, a network incident just after installation ^^. It will be repaired at 4 PM; I'll keep you posted, thanks. To both of you.
