Windows live mail in French

Hello,

I just downloaded and configured the latest Windows Live Mail but it is in English, I can't figure out how to get it in French.

Thank you for your help.

Configuration: Windows / Firefox 49.0

      Thank you for the link, I followed the second method, but I couldn't find "LangueSelector" in installer

    Open Windows Live --> go to options and check if you have a parameter for language

      I followed your advice, but when I go to the options, there is nothing to expand because only English is offered!

    Take the French version here
    before anything else you create a restore point
    on the desktop right-click on the This PC icon --> properties --> system protection --> System Restore
    if this is not enabled
    Select the C: system partition (highlight)
    then click Configure and check the box or circle: enable system protection
    close the System Protection window for Windows (c)
    then click Create

    Then uninstall Windows Live
    right-click the Start button --> Control Panel
    Programs --> uninstall a program
    uninstall Windows Live or Windows Live Installation --> Select Mail
    to finish Delete the Windows Live Mail folders from the following directories diskC:->Users-->USER_NAME-->AppData-->Local-->Microsoft-->Windows Live Mail
    OR
    diskC-->Users--> USER_NAME --> AppData --> Local --> Microsoft --> Windows Live Mail
    to do this you must show hidden files and folders
    open Explorer or right-click the Start button and then on Search >> type File Explorer
    View tab
    check Hidden items
    remember to uncheck the box after the operation.

    Restart the PC
    Proceed to install the French version

      thank you, but why create a restore point? (it seems complicated to me, especially since I just bought this new PC)
      Also, can I uninstall with Revo Uninstaller?

    you can with Revo create a restore point before uninstalling
    it has already happened to me that Windows Live uninstalls badly and the reverse as well for reinstalling, so be careful.

      c ok it worked, thanks
      it's just that when I uninstalled with Revo, just in case I didn't delete the remaining files! I checked afterward on the tutorials and saw that they had to be deleted :-)

    You didn’t scan the registry with Revo
    If you have CCleaner, it will fix the registry errors that were missed
    Did you install the French version?
