Hello,
I own a Samsung HW-F450 soundbar and can't get the wireless subwoofer to work.
In the manual, they say to activate the ID SET button and the blue LINK indicator blinks. Then they tell me to turn the main unit off (standby mode), but I don't see how to do this. The main unit is indeed the soundbar, right? But I can only turn it on or off, either with the remote control or with the power button, right?
I can't get ID SET to appear on the VFD of the main unit, so there's no connection with the subwoofer.
If you could provide me with some information, I would greatly appreciate it.

Good evening,

Here is an excerpt from the PDF notice regarding the connection between the soundbar and a wireless subwoofer:

CONNECTING A WIRELESS SUBWOOFER

The subwoofer link ID is preset at the factory, and the main unit and subwoofer should connect automatically (wireless connection) upon powering on. If the link indicator (*) does not light up when powering on the main unit and the subwoofer, you will need to set the ID as indicated in the following procedure.

1. Plug the power cords of the main unit and the subwoofer into an AC wall outlet.

2. Press and hold the ID SET button located on the back of the subwoofer for 5 seconds using a
sharp object.

• The STANDBY indicator goes off and the LINK indicator (Blue LED) blinks rapidly.

3. While the main unit is powered off (STANDBY mode),
press the MUTE button on the remote control for 5
seconds.

4. The ID SET message appears on the display (VFD) of the main unit.

5. To establish the link, power on the main unit
while the subwoofer’s LED indicator is blinking.

• The main unit and the subwoofer are now linked (connected).
• The link indicator (Blue LED) on the subwoofer is lit.
• You can enjoy better sound quality from the wireless subwoofer by selecting a sound effect.

A few small notes are added, here they are:

• Before moving or installing the device, turn it off and unplug it.
• If the main unit is powered off, the wireless subwoofer enters standby mode and the STANDBY LED indicator appears at the top of the screen. After 30 seconds, the Link indicator (blue LED) starts blinking.
• If a device using the same frequency (2.4GHz) is nearby, sound interruptions may occur due to interference.
• The transmission range from the main unit to the wireless tuner module is around 10 m (33 ft); it may vary depending on your environment. A reinforced concrete or metal wall situated between the main unit and the wireless tuner module can cause system failure since radio waves cannot penetrate metal.
• If the main unit does not establish a wireless connection, follow steps 1 to 5 above to retry the connection between the main unit and the wireless subwoofer.

Have you followed ALL the steps of the procedure? Including the procedure with the MUTE button on the remote control?
