Filezilla error EAI_NONAME issue

Hello,
I have a connection issue with Filezilla (I also tried with Cyberduck, same problem).
The host, username, and password are correct, no typos or anything, but I can't connect. I've been getting this message since yesterday: Connection attempt failed with "EAI_NONAME - No node name or server name provided, or unknown". I can connect via the IP address but not via the domain name.
I did some research on forums, and I tried to flush my DNS, no results.
Any ideas please?
Configuration: Mac OS X (10.11.3) / Safari 9.0.3

A friend helped me out, so if it can help, here’s the solution.
I went into my network preferences, then under Wi-Fi, I clicked on "Advanced."
Under the "DNS" tab, I simply had to delete my DNS server addresses. New addresses were automatically assigned, and that fixed the problem.
