Enter a numeric value with decimals in a field Solved

Question

Hello, I created a standard numeric field where I want to enter a number with decimals. The decimal value is not retained in the field. (example: input 140.110 = displayed=140.000) If you have the solution, that would be very nice. Thank you   Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 48.0

There are several types of numeric fields. You need to choose from the bottom frame, in design mode. I am also on A2007/2010. Have a good continuation.

Hello, You need to review the formats of your table field and form control. Set it to "Numeric" and "Single Real" or "Double Real" depending on the precision you want. Best regards

Hello Tessel75, and thank you for helping me out, but I don't have the "Real" options nor single or double in my ACCESS 2007 2010. There are only "general number, currency, euro, fixed, standard, percentage or scientific" and I'm not using a form for data entry (I enter directly in the table). Best regards

Hello in table creation mode, in the field properties that's where you can choose real, double or other.
