VHS player image issue

Hello
I have a problem with my VCR when I want to watch a tape; I get the menu screen of the VCR, the sound of the movie, but no picture!
The VCR is connected to my TV via SCART.
I cleaned the playback heads, but there was no change. Where could this be coming from?

    Hi,

    when putting in a cassette and playing it on fast forward, do you have a tape progress indicator on the blue screen?

    When playing, can you hear the cassette spinning in the device?

    Please try the adjustments on the VCR in case the remote batteries are dead ^^

      All the manipulations were done on the tape player ;)
      I took apart the tape player; the cassette spins well and the tape is read correctly by the playback heads.
      When I fast forward, there is no menu that appears... nor anything else for that matter.
      When I put in the cassette, I see a blue screen on the screen, then it says no signal (that's my TV), and I just hear the sound.
