Hello, my Polaroid tablet often turns off by itself and sometimes it discharges extremely quickly; it can be at 100% and drain in 20 minutes. After barely 10 minutes, it turns off when it's not plugged in, and sometimes it even turns off when it is plugged in and it gets really, really hot. Please help me, I'm fed up with this tablet ≥﹏≤≥﹏≤

Do you often charge your tablet when you use it? Your battery might be dead, it happens over time.

    But yes, it’s obvious.

Nagawaki, yes, right now as I'm writing this message I'm using it plugged in because it keeps shutting off all the time. Just 5 minutes ago it turned off twice in a row when I opened an app.

It's either a virus (which I would doubt), or an issue with your battery. I really think your battery is defective! Try contacting the technical support of your tablet's manufacturer, or the store where you bought it; maybe they can guide you to customer service.

Lastly, always keep an electronic device plugged in, especially during use, as this can quickly damage the battery. It starts by significantly reducing the battery life, and it can ultimately make the battery completely unusable.

Okay, thank you very much, I know that it damages the battery but I really need it and it turns off by itself so this is the only solution I have found. But I often try to leave it on until it discharges completely so I can charge it afterwards. Otherwise, do you know if I can change the battery and put a new one in?

It depends on the model of your tablet. If there is a way to remove the "cover" on the back to access the battery, then yes you can. If not, it means the brand wants to make money; basically, your product dies over time and you have to buy a new one. It's a sales tactic...
