LG TV
Solved
Hello,
I got a LG 37LC45 TV from 2007. I plugged it in, connected it to the antenna with a cable, and memorized the channels on the DTV source, which was done.
But now, nothing, the TV shows "service HD" on a black screen?
What does that mean? How can I tell if this TV has a built-in HD decoder?
Is the source correct (TV, DTV?)?
In short, how can I receive television channels?
Thank you in advance for your help.
Best regards
Bernard

Hello,
This television is not compatible with TNT HD (MPEG-4 standard): https://www.lcd-compare.com/televiseur-LG37LC45-LG-37LC45.htm
Therefore, you need to buy a "TNT HD decoder" to be able to receive television.

I add that it is "HD Ready" so it can display "almost HD" at 720p/1080i (full HD = 1080p/1920i) so don't forget to also buy an HDMI cable,
Connections and installation:
-Antenna only to the antenna input of the adapter.
-HDMI cable between TV and adapter
-Turn on the adapter
-Switch TV to HDMI input (source or input button on the TV remote) to display the adapter's home screen.
-Follow the on-screen instructions with the adapter's remote. -
