Hello,
My recorder is out of order for the recording part, so I bought a decoder (even though I already have HD TV) FUJIONKYO FT-600HD to record. The connection is via HDMI;
The manual is outdated and poorly designed, so I hope I can program a recording of a show while watching another channel...
Thank you in advance for the information.
Configuration: Windows / Chrome 46.0.2486.0

Hello,
Of course, you can record with this device and watch another channel on your HD TV, and also record with your TV if it has a PVR, what is its model?

Hello
Thank you for your response.
I am not an expert.. What is the PVR?
The TV in question is: SAMSUNG LE 32A466
There is another one: LG
Can I still use my player (LG hr832 T) with the decoder connected?
Thank you again and have a good day.

Hello,
Here's what I respond to people encountering recording issues:
Solution for you :-Most current HD TNT terminals have a "PVR" = Personal Video Recorder (in French = Magnétoscope Numérique), they record on external hard drives in HD, they can of course be programmed in advance, practical, no more tapes or DVDs to handle and you can therefore record one channel while watching another on the TV since it is HD,
You can still use your DVD recorder for playback
Connections:
For the antenna, whatever the solution :
Antenna input on the HD TNT terminal, then return to the TV with a coaxial cable (terminal output -> TV antenna input.)
Solution for you : HD TNT terminal via HDMI to the TV.
DVD player via HDMI if possible to the TV, otherwise SCART.
Alternative solution : buy another recorder with HD tuner!!! but that's a bit steep
Your Samsung TV doesn't have a PVR
As for the LG, you forgot the model number...

Hello
Absence for a few days...
The LG TV is 42LG 3000-ZA
thank you for all the information. It's good for the player.
I have another problem with recordings while watching another channel. Can we only watch a show on a channel from the same frequency as the one being recorded, or am I making a mistake?
