my satellite dish is stuck in the open position.
the control panel displays error 21 no communication.
the 12V power supply is fine, the dish is not at the end of its travel.
I started the motorhome, cut the system's power, nothing worked

Yes, it is indeed an automatic motorized satellite dish for motorhomes...
And no, it’s not a good idea to go see a so-called "expert" who will break everything and make you buy a new one that he will sell you for a fortune.
I have the same issue with my antenna; I had to take it down because I wasn't planning to stay in one place. I noticed later that it was possible to only take down the dish to avoid wind resistance. I disassembled everything.
I found the manufacturer’s manual which explains that this error is due to branches, leaves, snow, or frozen ice preventing any rotation in both axes. For my part, nothing is obstructing the motors. I completely took it apart to access the system and powered the motors with 12v in both directions to see, and they work fine.
If anyone has more information about this problem, I'm interested because I put everything back together and I still get the same message "error display 21"!!!
