Hello,
I just got a Sony BRAVIA TV, I have a basic external antenna, and when I scan for channels in digital mode, the channels are detected. However, when I select a channel (whether it's TF1, France 2, or France 3), none of them work, and I get "the desired channel is not available." In analog mode, I don't have any channels at all. I would like to know if a solution is possible? Or if I need to purchase a TNT box to hope to fix this problem?
Thank you!

Good evening,
It's the same for me here in Belgium, I have a Sony Bravia KDL-40BX400, when I installed it (5 years ago), I also searched for digital channels, it detected all of them (channel name and channel number) but none are available without a decoder, it's paid.
PS: I am connected to the operator's cable without a decoder, I receive a few channels in analog but nothing in digital.
I suppose it's the same in France, to receive channels digitally you have to pay, so buy a box and pay a monthly subscription.
Money, money, money ;-)
Best regards and have a good evening ;-)

It all depends on how flexible a cow's tail is between the rungs of a chair in foggy weather;-)

However, do you know why I don't even receive some channels in analog? Is it because I have a basic external antenna?
Finally, if I buy this type of decoder "http://www.darty.com/nav/achat/hifi_video/reception_tnt_satellite/decodeur_tnt/brandt_btr1203hd_1.html", which requires no subscription, it should work, right?
Best regards and thank you!
