Question

I reinstalled LibreOffice on Windows 10 and I tried all the solutions I found (except the right one, obviously!) and I can only barely open and use my files and I can't "run as administrator".... Help!

Thank you, but apparently I can't find the solution: with Windows 10, the commands don't seem to be the same!

With Windows 10, the context menu exists:  Of course, you need to install OpenOffice.   . -- Why hack MS Office when there is a free solution? Use OpenOffice.

Thank you so much: after some trial and error (I've been on the web since 1991 and it moves so fast!), everything is up and running. I suppose the origin of the problem was a prompt that I didn't pay enough attention to: switching from Open Office (which I was using) to Libre Office (presented as just a simple name change)... this elevation request appeared when I reinstalled Libre Office after a reset...
