Hello,
I am looking for a tool to digitize supplier invoices. This tool should be able to process paper invoices, emails, and files. I do not want to work in SAAS mode but prefer to have proprietary software. We are using SAGE 100 i7. Do you have any suggestions?

You hadn't given these details at the beginning... sorry for not guessing your thoughts.

-- You need to know your data entry interface and the format of the values and the transition to your accounting program.. Then, you definitely need a control key... You can't trust automatic entry.. There are bound to be errors.
-- You have to consider handwritten invoices...
-- All suppliers must produce the same document with the figures in the same places...??
I only see "Omni Page Pro" https://www.nuance.com/fr-fr/index.html doing things like that...
But you shouldn't think it will work on its own like that... That's a dream.
You need to develop an interface program to capture the data, regardless of the supplier... and turn it into a file that must be checked before being entered into the accounting..
The task is tough... You will have to justify the profitability of the system. -

Hello,
You can already ask the suppliers to send you the invoices in PDF format.
A file is on a hard drive, so it's not on paper, and emails have never been on paper; they arrived online and only later became paper documents on the recipient's site.
For old invoices or plans, there is only the scanner to digitize the paper... and it becomes a photo; which can be output as a PDF if it needs to be secured... after a few years, it’s only for archives.
This work takes time, it's important to be aware of this, and the more demanding you are regarding the precision of the work produced, the more time it requires (and it's also money).
Here's a first approach... We need to have an idea of the volumes to be processed..?-
I clarify my question: I want to go from supplier invoices (paper or PDF or file) to accounting entries without manual input; therefore, there needs to be software that performs character recognition of PDFs and converts them into accounting entries.
There is Scanfact, but I've heard it's not efficient.
Does anyone have any ideas?

The OmniPage Pro software is not accounting-oriented and would not be suitable. What I'm looking for is software similar to that offered by YOOZ but not in SAAS mode.
Is anyone using this type of product?
