How to know if the person really asked for the addition?

Good evening

I deleted a contact from my Snapchat as well as their number from my phone's directory.
I see them in my "they added me" section but with the mention "in my contacts" and "has requested you."
Does that mean the person sent me a friend request again or is it just that they are still stored in the app's memory?

I'm not a pro at this, but normally it depends on whether the contact has remained. That's it, see you later.
