Lexmark X2550 Scanning Issue

Hello,

Can you help me out? I can't scan an urgent document that I need to send by email. I've tried everything: unplugging the printer and USB port, restarting the computer, nothing works. Thanks for helping me out as soon as possible.

    Hello...

    Try this:
    start, programs, accessories, PAINT, file and "from a scanner or camera"...

    PS: can you make a photocopy without going through the PC?
    Can you print from the PC?

    Thank you for replying, but I don't want to print, I want to scan a document and put it on my computer.

    I've already scanned documents without any issues, it must be my Lexmark that's acting up

    Or do I need to press start !!! Talk to you later, thanks.

    Read carefully: I'm asking you if you CAN and not if you WANT... this is to know if the printer is WORKING....! ;)
    START, that's the big button at the bottom left of your taskbar...

    So, you can't make a photocopy directly on the printer, WITHOUT GOING through the PC?
    Does the cartridge with the neon move from side to side when you make a photocopy?

    But yes!! the direct photocopy on the printer works. I still can't scan my document to the computer.

    Have you tried this:

    Windows or Linux, or Mac...,
