Hello,
I would like to obtain a khaki color using my leftover paint from white and light gray. I also have black dye. What other colors do I need to achieve this khaki? Thank you for your help.

    For a khaki, you use:
    8% black
    7% blue
    85% yellow oxide
For an olive green, you use:
    21% yellow oxide
    71% bright yellow
    8% black

    green,
or yellow and blue which will give you more latitude in the khaki shade.

Thank you for your response, but with the light gray, I can add some yellow or green. I wonder if it might be better to buy a small pot of paint in khaki tones rather than two tubes of color, knowing that it's to cover closet doors.

      Of course..
but if you take an already established color (khaki, which is a blend of base colors) you will have less room to play with the khaki shade than if you have a yellow and a blue that together make green...

Whatever... since it's for repainting closet doors... do it on a budget...(I was thinking about a canvas)

Start with a green that's closer to the desired shade and add some gray... A green with a bit of yellow will probably look better with gray than a green that already has black in it.

Yes, in fact, hello the economy, it's better to buy a pot of khaki rather than blue + yellow because with khaki you have to dose it; it's still a color that needs to be matched as best as possible... Thank you for your comments.

I would say yellow and blue to get green, to which you can add a bit of black to achieve khaki.
